BTW, I don't hear any of you say anything or see any stop action photos of the ball four pitch to Corey Hart that allowed the Brewers to score thier only run.  I guess that was a good call, right?  The same ump was right on top of that one.  That pitch clearly crossed the plate also and it couldn't be high on Hart.  Without that call, you don't have to worry abot DeFelice forcing in the winning run because the game would have been over in the ninth.

It was talked about in the gamethread - GameDay showed the ball clearly inside.

Doesn't that picture kind of sum up you guys?  You can almost see the tears coming down his face if you look close enough

Thank you again for showing what a complete moron you are. But, I guess we can't expect someone like you to recognize the difference between a play in the 4th inning (after which each team has countless chances to affect the outcome) and one which ENDS the game. If the Brewers don't score in the 4th, it changes a lot of things that happen after that, and who knows what would have happened. Plus, the pitch to Hart was a 3-1 pitch. If that pitch had been called a strike, maybe the next pitch would have been further out of the umpire's strike zone. Or maybe Hart would have gotten a hit (yes, I heard it) that would have scored 2 or more runs. So, only in a microscopic mind are those two plays comparable.

If GameDay is the final word, why do they need umps?  Do you know how accurate GameDay is?  Do we know how their strike zone is calculated?  Did the ump miss any calls against the Brewers that GameDay said was something different or was that last pitch the only call after 200+ pitches that the ump and GameDay disagreed on?  Did it miss any other calls, like against Theriot for instance, that could have influenced the game?  See, when you look at things from both sides, it is not quite as clear as when you look at them with prejudice.

If a pitch is a ball in the fourth inning, shouldn't it be a ball in the ninth inning?  Are you saying the umps should base their decisions on what is going on in the game?  Didn't DeFelice have nine other pitches that at bat to get Fox out?

Another concept that seems to be too difficult for this simpleton. This is a Brewers forum and Brewer fans are going to look at things from the Brewers perspective.

Not what I was saying at all, but I don't expect your little mind to get that. I would be happy to look at still photos or videos of the pitch to Hart in the 4th inning, but I can't find any. Maybe that's because a play in the 4th inning doesn't get as much attention as one that ENDS THE GAME.

I found this to be interesting commentary on the issue being debated in this thread.

So the Brewers perspective is, if the sky being blue were to be the result of the Brewers losing, and it came in the ninth inning, then to the Brewers, the sky wouldn't be blue.

Speaking of commenting ont the thread, I notice now that as usual, you guys turn to name calling when you don't have a point.  Let me guess your age, Wisblue...under twenty-five.

But I also noticed no one commented on my Game Day analysis.  Don't tell me it was so persuasive it left you all speechless?

I thought you had already proven yourself to be a complete idiot, but you even topped yourself with this incomprehensible drivel.

You are wrong, wrong, wrong, on my age, and anyone who is a regular on this board knows it. I save my name calling for the trolls that deserve it.

Believe me, it isn't your "persuasiveness" that leaves me speechless.

Brewers fans are going to look at things from the Brewers perspective right?  You said so yourself.  So if that is your only criteria for gauging the accuracy of an umpire's call, then every umpire's call that goes against the Brewers is going to be seen as incorrect.  Isn't that what you are really saying?  Because the one pitch that seems to really get your goat this time around happened to go against the Brewers.  But you never did reply to the fact DeFelice had nine other pitches to get Fox out, including several 3 and 2 pitches, and didn't.  Now come  back and tell me how dumb and I am and then reply to my question.

I guessed your age based on the way you respsond to debate.  Name calling is usually left for the immature and uneducated.
