OT: The dumbest Packers to ever play.
Not the most edifying thread in the world, but it gave me an idea. Who was dumber than a pile of rocks? Who would you put on the list?
As my Grand-daddy once said, "Don't get into a spray fight with a skunk." Except he didn't exactly use the word "spray."

I think he makes the list. He once asked HC Forrest Gregg, "Did you ever play this game?"

I mentioned Rudy Kuechenberg, LB ('70) as a lock for this team.
Vince didn't keep guys around (at least for very long) who weren't smart, but two that stuck for his first season were (according to the book that released the mid-season internal reviews of the '59 season). 1) A.D.Williams--E. Dumber than a pile of rocks. Traded, straight up, for Willie Davis the next year. Paul Brown only kept him for a year and then he got sent to the Queens--where idiots go to die. 2) John Dittrich, G. Apparently not too bright or too talented, stuck only because rookie Andy Cvercko got injured.
