Not the most edifying thread in the world, but it gave me an idea. Who was dumber than a pile of rocks? Who would you put on the list?
How about Brebt Fullwood.
I think he makes the list. He once asked HC Forrest Gregg, "Did you ever play this game?" LOL. I had forgotten Fullwood's legendary IQ. Damn shame he was such a moron, because he had sick physical ability.
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Sherman should get some credit for this and shoulder some of the load. Poor guy (Carroll) couldn't help it. The most frustrating thing about Carroll was he wasn't that bad a DB...it seemed like he'd be doing OK, and at least twice a game it would be "deep ball, Carroll in coverage, keeping up with him, good position, gonna be a tough catch for the WR.....AAAAANNNNDD Carroll grabs a fistful of jersey right in front of the ref."

And to top it off he'd celebrate incompletions like he was the next Deon Sanders when the QB would chuck a ball over the head of the "wide open" receiver he was covering:)

The dumbest Packer of all time has to be Brent Favre.

Desmond Howard - Missing 2d half kick-off in pay-offs against the 49ers because he wanted to put on clean pants. Rison ran onto field to help with kick return only to let it get by him and be recovered by 49ers.

Brent Fullwood hands down was the dumbest ever!

Considering Greggs teams finished 25-37-1 over four years it is hard to believe he played on 5 NFL Championships. Also, Thompsons first year was 1987, which was Greggs last and they finished 5-9-1. This is the year the great QB Alan Risher lead GB to 2 wins and 1 loss in the strike season. That means the pros went 3-8-1 and I can now easily see why Thompson asked.

Without a doubt. I'll never forget a story about Fullwood (not sure if it is true, but either way the fact that his name is with it shows how dumb people thought he was). As the story goes, Fullwood had "TGIF" written on his shoes. Someone asked him why he liked Friday so much (since it's not the end of the week for a football player). Fullwood shot back a confused look. The other player then asked him what "TGIF" was for. Fullwood replied "Toes go in first."

Great story. Were it true, however, I'd be dumfounded.

I believe that's "Fullwood."
As my Grand-daddy once said, "Don't get into a spray fight with a skunk." Except he didn't exactly use the word "spray."

I forgot how mentally challeged Fullwood was! The first guy that came to my mind when I saw the thread title was A. Carroll.
