Not the most edifying thread in the world, but it gave me an idea. Who was dumber than a pile of rocks? Who would you put on the list?

How about Brebt Fullwood.

Sherman should get some credit for this and shoulder some of the load.  Poor guy (Carroll) couldn't help it.

The most frustrating thing about Carroll was he wasn't that bad a DB...it seemed like he'd be doing OK, and at least twice a game it would be "deep ball, Carroll in coverage, keeping up with him, good position, gonna be a tough catch for the WR.....AAAAANNNNDD Carroll grabs a fistful of jersey right in front of the ref."

Desmond Howard - Missing 2d half kick-off in pay-offs against the 49ers because he wanted to put on clean pants.  Rison ran onto field to help with kick return only to let it get by him and be recovered by 49ers.

Considering Greggs teams finished 25-37-1 over four years it is hard to believe he played on 5 NFL Championships.  Also, Thompsons first year was 1987, which was Greggs last and they finished 5-9-1.  This is the year the great QB Alan Risher lead GB to 2 wins and 1 loss in the strike season.  That means the pros went 3-8-1 and I can now easily see why Thompson asked.
