Players dont get credited for 2 points conversions in the NFL.

One time I saw Darren Sharper (with the Pack) pick off a pass during a 2 points convesions and the announcer announced that D-Sharp wont get credited for that pick.

If defensive players dont credited for making plays, why must offensive players?

Because those are the rules.  2 pt. conversions and safeties all count in the official tallies.

My guess he comes up with some goofy explanation on how Rodgers scored four points via two safeties in 2008. I only remember one, though.

You're probably right, but Tankerbelle's dead wrong--per the standard and customary.  Only in the deluded world of Tankerbelle would the player getting sacked score the safety.

    Bingo!

The answer is Erin Rodgers. Erin just stood in the endzone like an idiot while Jared Allen sacked him not once but twice. Take away those 4 points Erin scored for the Vikes and Pack win the game and makes the playoffs!

Swany, you're check is in the mail.

    Re: $5 Question:

Does this mean that all the points defenses have scored on Favre interceptions count as points scored for Favre?

When you held the ball for an eternity the way Erin did (twice), damn right you scored a safety.

Nope. Favre never had possession of those balls.

When Erin scored his 2 safeties, the ball was in his hand.

    Re: $5 Question:

Swanny, I wouldn't count on spending that $5 any time soon.  Tankerbelle's a true lib and won't part with his own money quickly--if at all. OPM is a different story ;).

Packers win that game, they're what--7-9, and the Vikes are 9-7. How does that put the Packers in the playoffs?
