    Re: $5 Question:

    CheeseCityFan:

Swanny, I wouldn't count on spending that $5 any time soon.  Tankerbelle's a true lib and won't part with his own money quickly--if at all. OPM is a different story ;).

If I do see it, I am sending it to the Palin 2012 campaign fund...on behalf of Tankerbelle.

And my 10-month old has this to say about the game:

    LOL!

    CheeseCityFan:

Packers win that game, they're what--7-9, and the Vikes are 9-7. How does that put the Packers in the playoffs?

Ever heard of momentum? Win that game Pack is 5-4 with cupcakes such as NO, Jax, Chi (twice), and Det left on the schedule. 5-0 against those teams was not unrealistic.

But Erin had to choke away the Packers' season.

Um....that's what conservatives do. Get your fact str8t.

Conservatives give more of their money away to charitable causes than liberals do, especially secular liberals, like you.

    Apok:

Does this mean that all the points defenses have scored on Favre interceptions count as points scored for Favre?

Nope. Favre never had possession of those balls.

When Erin scored his 2 safeties, the ball was in his hand.

Yea, Favre just gave the ball away.  What a nice guy.  I should have appreciated his gifts more.

If "if" and "buts" were candy and nuts, Tankerbelle, every day would be Christmas. One game doesn't make or break that season. Actually we should take the four points and give it the five O-lineman that couldn't hold their blocks and then you'd have a fraction point given to each of the five.

Is that why he never tried making a tackle after his INT's?

If Rogers scored the safeties against the Vikings, why does the NFL credit them to the Vikings?

Jesus Christ! You make excuses after excuses after excuses.

Even if the the 5 best OLmen in the whole NFvckingL were blocking for Erin, he'd still score a safety. That's what happens when you hold on to the ball for an eternity.

No, that's why Favre never ended up on the IR, unlike Fragile Erin who broke a foot without being touched and ended up on the IR.

Rodgers was running for his life most of that game.

Aaron Rodgers was under immense pressure the whole game from the Vikings' pass rush.  When he wasn't being sacked, he was being hurried or knocked down.  His passer rating of 72.9 is one of his worst this season and the Packers converted just 1 of 11 on third downs.  The Packers were also forced into a pair of safeties, although one of the two appeared to be a bad call by the referee.
