When I want to Chicago it wasn't cheap by any means. Not NY expensive, but not cheap. There are a lot of nice things to do.
I actually liked Comiskey - which a lot of people don't.
Well, I'll say it is cheaper than New York, L.A., San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, and the Strip part of Vegas. I hear Boston is pretty expensive as well.
SF... now there is a fun town. WOuld live there anyday instead of NY or LA!
I like the Bay Area but not downtown SF... does the sun ever come out?
If you are west of 19th avenue... probably not. Get a bit east toward the Bay (Mission district... North Beach)... and you are okay. There aren't a lot of foggy games at AT&T this year. Its in a great location and has been totally revitalized as well. Many expensive condos and a great bar scene.
The area right around the ballpark is nice. Still one of my top three favorite places to see a game (PNC is another).
AT&T definitely in the top 3... amazing views... great atmosphere. Love the area around the park.
WIll be at Coors at the end of July. I've always wanted to get there.
Although everyone thinks Wrigley is a dump... I've had fun going to games there.
Want to get to the Sky Dome and Fenway next year.
The stadiums I still need to see:
Arlington
Sky Dome
Safeco
Citi Field (been to NY twice when they were home including when the Brewers were there but couldn't go)
Turner Field
Citizens Bank
Nationals Park
Camden Yards
Saw Colorado last year - good - not great. A little big for my taste. SafeCo is okay... not that great. The train is ANNOYING. Neigborhood is blah. I've been around Coors Field... and the neighborhood seems nice... a few good bars/brew pubs in the area. Been to all the West Coast stadiums... liked AT&T... then a tie between Dodgers Stadium and PetCo. Al Davis ruined Oakland Coliseum. Angels Stadium... just blah. Candlestick was HORRIBLE for baseball... it felt like 40 degrees and EXTREMELY windy!

Cali:
My top 5
1) Pittsburgh
2) St. Louis
3) San Francisco
4) Boston
5) Milwaukee
Honorable mention: Cleveland, Detroit, San Diego (great location, horrible dimensions)
Bottom 4
1) Dodger Stadium
2) Florida
3) Yankees
4) Metrodome
The rest are not great - but not bad. Oakland gets a bad rap.
No matter who is in there, we have to find a way to throw the ball better for us to have success. I think when you are constantly behind in games, it is not easy and it is not fun. Their starting pitcher was clearly better than ours this series.

I honestly think it's time the Brewers just cut their losses and release Bill Hall... In all honesty he is probably the 5th best option at 3B for the Brewers.. He's just taking up a roster spot from someone who could contribute..
McGehee, Gamel, Counsell, and Adam Heether whose raking in AAA are all better options at 3B right now.. You won't be able to trade him, so just bit the bullet and release him already..
Hall is versatile. If (God forbid) something happened to Cameron, he could play CF for a long period of time. Not that we'd want him to, but he can also play SS, 2B, or CF. Just too versatile. That's kind of true, but I still don't see the point of keeping him because there are still better options at those positions.. McGehee and Counsell can both play 2B and are both way better than Hall.. If something would ever happen to JJ, Counsell is a better option at SS and Escobar would be called up instantly to play SS everyday.. And as bad as Gerut has been, he's still a better option in CF and if not him I'd still much rather see Hart moved over to CF or a guy llike Bourgeis (spelling) brought up... Really, Bill Hall brings nothing to this team and should just be released already..
The apologists would never allow that. As long as he eats a big enough payroll, he is going to rot as a spot on this roster.
Ty Cobb: "I believe I can truthfully say that I can hit equally well into either right or left field and generally at will. ... I will claim that when I am going right, I can drive four out of five fast balls within fifteen feet of where I want them to go."

Any stadium that has Pepsi also loses some points. That's the only redeeming thing about Dodger Stadium. But I think my disdain for Dodger Stadium shows by the fact I'd rather drive an extra 100 miles to San Diego to see the Brewers play.

Al did really hurt it by enclosing it. However, it still has good sight lines from behind the plate. It's clean. It's easy to get to on BART.

For those keeping track, Brewers have been in place for 43 days coming into today.

I'd be thrilled if Milwaukee can just win tomorrow and escape with a split.

Brewers have only given the Cubs 4 runs since the 4th inning of Thursday's game.

Hey fellas. Just wondering if anyone knows the number to text the booth. Every time Bob or Corey says it, I seem to miss it. Thanks.

Re: Crew @ Cubs Game #3: 7/4
I look at Billy's stats - he has 5 HR in less than 200 plate appearances. How bad would a guy be who could hit 15-20 HR's if he played every day - even hitting .220?
There's a lot worse out there. Kendall does the same but he doens't hit any long ball.
