I Salute you Sir...thank your for reading me my rights.  I've already stated...WAS a packer fan.  Now am I allowed to continue my pouring of the salt?

    Dane_Setner:

Yes...Thompson and McCarthy and Murphy...ruined the joy of cheering for the Packers for me.  But it's been replaced by watching Favre do his thing in Minnesota.  Plus..I will still be cheering for Favre in Minnesota when McCarthy and Thompson will have been replaced in Green Bay.....count on that.

I'm going to chalk you up as a Favre fan. Packer fan, not so much. . .

But like I said before, it's nice to get some separation from the people who only "supported" the Pack when Favre was here. Nothing worse than a fan who jumps on the team because of one player.

What I don't understand is how a "packer fan" can actually cheer for the vikings. . . although I guess I know the answer: those who jumped on the team bandwagon when Favre was here can just as simply reassign their allegiance to whatever team he plays with. . .

Dane's not a Packer fan. He's more of a bandwagon guy. And I use the term "guy" pretty loosely.

Really Scott? That is the best you got?  I like you better when your bashing Favre or Favre supporters with your posts.  I know it hurts that all your support for Thompson and McCarthy looks pretty foolish now...but you can always keep on hoping.  I know your hoping week after week that Minnesota would just lose and your Thompson Packers would gain some ground...so that must be frustrating. But keep up the good fight...keep on calling Favre a choker and a liar..I know it makes you feel better about yourself. I on the other hand will enjoy this season and watch Favre prove all his doubters wrong.  It's an awesome feeling watching the washed up 40 year old do things that many of you...said he couldn't do.  I'm sorry that it stings...I'm sorry that you have to take some ***....I'm sorry that all your predictions have blown up in your faces.  But such is life...such is living in FAVRE'S WORLD.

Look at the way the light glistens off his helmet.

Except that 70,000 fans at Lambeau let him and the world know that he's a filthy immoral traitor. But his cult remains loyal, and ready to excuse whatever latest transgression comes to light.

Ah, Dane, RNAY, et al..who flip and then flop on the whim of a single player in a team sport - you cold and timid souls that will never know neither victory nor defeat.

     It's shiny.

You mean the 70,000 that wore cheese on their heads...or wore an orange coat(that was dressy)...or the ones that took the time to actually write on a card board sign?  Ya..that jury spoke...very impressive.  I thought Favre was more like the executioner though on Sunday.  He was calm, cool, and did his job under pressure. It was great.

The team and player I chose to back are 7-1 and there is no confusion for me.  Life is great.  Redemption for Favre is great....watching you suckers try to figure out what happened is even better.  I flipped...you guys flopped.

Ahhh simply not true. I've been a Packer fan since, well since Vince. It took a douchebag like TT to knock me off from whence I was firmly ensconced.

I raise my glass to you Robert...I'm proud to be in your company.  What I love is the description of True Fans.  Are they the ones that actually go to the games? Are they the few that choose to write in a Packer Forum?  Are they represented by Wisconsin Media?  True fans are out there in abundance like us...we were totally turned off by the arrogance of this regime and how they handled the PR war against Favre.  But we found something to replace our Packer Sundays......it's called VIKINGS WILL KICK YOUR FING ASSES IF YOU TRY AND GET IN THEIR WAY.....led by the washed up, left for dead, he should just retire for the 20 million....Brett Favre.

      It is a cult Scott...and it's a large...very strong group.  I'm sorry you can't join though....no pussies allowed.

I'd like to use the term "coward" when referring to people like him.
