Re: "Sitton shaping up as o-line's strongest link"
McGinn on the mark again? What was his Packers prediction this year...won/lost total? Also wasn't it McGinn back in 2006...when Favre didn't make a first down running the ball....say that Favre had lost it and should give it up? McGinn can write all the Favre is playing great articles he wants now....I remember what he said. Another sucker.

McGinn wasn't alone in that camp in the media. Look at the guys numbers from 2005 and 2006, he played like Bubby Brister, (70.9 and 72.7 ratings respectively) didn't want to be in camp, or participate in OTA's and couldn't make up his mind in the offseason if he was coming back or not. OBJECTIVELY that does pretty much looks like a guys who'd lost it and should retire.

etorkelson:Per usual, McGinn is on the mark in noting Sitton has played pretty well. Also, if Sitton is OK does that mean Campen can't coach? Or does it mean that if the lineman TT has drafted are worth a nickel they have been "coached" just fine, because Lang shows more to me than do Spitz, Colledge, Barbre (not to mention Giancomini, Moll or any of the other stiffs TT has drafted). http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/69435887.html
I think that coaching on the line is the issue. Spitz and Colledge have regressed through the time they've been here. Early on when Spitz, Colledge and Moll were getting tossed in all over the place due to injury they played adequately. Now, they seem to be playing less so. It's not age or major injury in any of their cases, but they do have different line coaches.

There are a whole bunch of Jets fans that wish he took their advice.

TT lucked out and the kid overcame his coaching

Re: "Sitton shaping up as o-line's strongest link"
Even though Favre played the last 5-6 games with a torn biceps tendon(I know...I know..you keep forgetting to mention that part.....and the fact he actually had to have surgery)...the Jets still finished 3 games better than the Packers. But I forgot....wins don't matter to you. So if your believer in history repeating itself....Favre will tear another biceps tendon.....and the Packers will finish 6-10?

Re: "Sitton shaping up as o-line's strongest link"
Fact: 2007 Jets 4-12 2008 Jets(with Favre) 9-7......2007 Packers 13-3 2008 Packers(without Favre) 6-10 Fact: IN 2009....Favre has kicked the Packers ass twice!
Excuses: Aaron doesn't have time to get rid of the ball....the OL isn't talented enough...injuries are keeping the Packers down...having to adjust to 3-4....blah blah blah

FACT-Dane Setner ISNT a Packers Fan FACT-Dane Setner IS an idiot. FACT-Dane Setners opinion is worth squat.
I have officially gotten of the MM bandwagon. It is now time to go ass wipe. If you take TT with you, it won't hurt my feelings one bit. This team needs a fresh start.

Well, you don't become a male personal trainer because your SAT scores were off the charts.

Looks like he's off on the prediction this year and that will break his streak. The last couple seasons he went against the grain and made on the money calls. You should post a link on what he said about Favre at the time. Not saying he didn't say something like that but I'd like to see it in context. McGinn is pretty damn excellent IMO.
