Worst 3 GMs in Packer History

    # 2: Dan Davine: I dont know a lot about this guy other than the facts that he was against playing Rudy, and his dog got shot. Anytime your dog got shot, you are a bad GM.  Anytime you refused to play Rudy, you are a bad man,

And the worst GM in Packer history is......

    # 1. Ted "Polar Bear" Thompson: What an incompetent whore. Took over a playoffs team and gave birth to 4-12. After Brett Favre led the Pack to the NFC title game, the Polar Bear paid the G.O.A.T back by trading him to Siberia. Has more resources ($$$) than any gm in Packer history; Did absolutely NOTHING. Failure to trade for Randy Moss is the phock up of the century.

Ted Thompson is a Matt Millen clone.

William Herbert "B. J." Sander (born July 29, 1980 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American football punter who is currently a free agent. He was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ohio State.

    [edit] Early years

Sander attended Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a letterman in football. In football, he averaged 43.5 yards per punt as a junior. As a senior, he was a first team All-Ohio selection. William Herbert Sander graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1999.

    [edit] College career

Despite starting just one year at The Ohio State University, he won the 2003 Ray Guy Award for the best punter in the nation.

    [edit] Professional career

He was selected in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Packers. The following year, he played in NFL Europe, and punted respectably for the first half of the following regular season. However, once the cold weather started in Green Bay, Sander struggled, and ended up near the bottom of the punter rankings.

Sander was released by Green Bay on August 21, 2006. Jon Ryan became the team's primary punter.

On March 5, 2007, the St. Louis Rams signed Sander; they released him on April 21, 2007.

Hey Cambell, the last time the Packers drafted a punter from the OSU, they.......

    MADE THE PLAYOFFS!

    Nuff said.

Want a pure example of draft phock ups? See Justin Harrell and AJ Hawk.

Yeah, BJ was really the history making hero on that team. I think he might have been the first backup punter in NFL history.

If Favre wins the SB with the Vikings I will enjoy the moment, doesn't mean I'm not a true Packer Fan. robertj44, 6/26/09

What can I tell you, I think the guy is funny.  I've never found you to be very funny as hard as you might try.  You're pretty annoying in fact, every once in a great while coming up with something useful but usually just trying to mask your feelings of anger over your feelings of unrequited love for Brett Favre.  Boring.

I think you're just sore over your Orton/Cutler blunder.

Like that mass of humanity at Lambeau field last Sunday, I make no apologies for my feelings about Traitor Brett.

HE was also the first punter to be rewarded with a roster spot even though his punting average during the preseason was sub 20 yards becuase the GM thought some other team would claim him off the practice squad.

Shocker that you went there.  Usually you're SO unpredictable.  I'm very wrong so far.  Wrong because I never saw the Broncos led by Kyle Orton at 6-1 and about as sure a thing for the playoffs as you're going to find right now.  On the other hand Cutler is just about where I thought he'd be - playing on a team that needs to rebuild a defense, an o-line and a receiving corp; as I predicted several times they're not a playoff team this year.  But unlike you I don't think the trade will ultimately be evaluated based on one season of play.
