Not quite. Brinkley is getting burned repeatedly.

Up by 10. Under 4:00 to go in the half. Ball on IU 47...and you come out with 3 straight pass plays? If you ask me, that last IU TD was set up by the questionable play calling on UW's last possession.

Clay is already putting up big numbers.

The Badgers have been sloppy, but it's pretty clear they're in control of the game.

Oh, and this defensive front 7 has me super excited for the coming years.

Well, to be fair, Graham and Anderson were wide open and they dropped gimme first down passes. So I don't know if there was really a problem with the gameplan, but more of a lack of execution. But I do agree that they should be running more , like they did on that last touchdown drive.

I wish they could bully someone with a winning record.

If you ask me it was set up by a couple of terrible drops that probably took away an easy touchdown drive.

Nothing at all wrong with the play calling there, IMO, just the execution.

Excellent. Back to the run and another TD. That's more like it.

Point well taken. Perhaps I was too harsh on the play calling. Still, the running game is going well. Why get away from it, especially at the point of the game? Run the ball, drain the clock and, hopefully, head to the locker room with another TD.

There is something to be said for developing the pass game in in-game situations, right?

I mean, they can run the ball with little challenge here, but they've also been able to throw on this team and you have a QB in need of some confidence/experience.

I guess I don't see a problem with it because I don't think this game is going to be particularly close in the end. Take away 3 or 4 key mistakes in this game and the Badgers are up what, 28 or 35 to nothing?

Iowa is the worst 8-0 team I've ever seen.
