they declined his option and signed him for 1 million thinking he would play part time. He has done a great job this year for the Brewers and I hope they give him a bonus after this season. He deserves it!!!

I also thought this was a winter activity. Last year was great something to do , when nothing about baseball was really going on. With players reporting and spring around the corner maybe this isnt the right time? As a suggestion maybe set everything up and have it ready to go in fall after the season.
