• Re: Lost In The Win

Saying Tampa loss maybe wasn't so sad?  Horescrap.  That game is gonna cost them big-time in the end.  Penalties are a huge concern.  Thankfully Dallas was slopier and did everything they could to give the game away.  I think the penalties are a huge problem.  I, too, blame it to coaching and having ...

  • Re: What would you be willing to give up?

Edwin Jackson is the exact type of pitcher DM should be targeting.  He's a potential #1/#2 starter that you don't have to pay top dollar for (in terms of prospects).  After pitching in the AL East and Central the last few years I think he would cruise through the NL Central. Unfortunately, to get a guy like that we are going to ...

If you are going to follow a team and try and have intelligent discussions about your team's future, wouldn't it be smart to do some research so you know what you are talking about? Doesn't everyone have a hobby that they spend hours a week on?
It shouldn't have taken him half of the season to do so.
Why?  Statistically looking at the previous teams to switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4, a half-season is almost exactly how long it takes for the new defense to start clicking.  Anyone that is paying attention knew we were going to go through ...

  • Re: The OL: McGinn's Perspective
Thompson has drafted nine offensive linemen between the second and fifth rounds with almost nothing to show for it.
That's really all there is to it. Wasn't he suppossed to be a good evaluator of talent? When you rely so heavily on something that is a crapshoot, this is what happens.

  • Re: Thompson's drafting 05-07 in context....

TT got lucky that Rogers fell to him and that nobody else would pay Woodson what he wanted.  Jennings is a highly productive top 50 pick.  Other than that TT hasn't landed one guy that is better than average. ('09 draft TBD)
