• Re: Hardy traded to Twins

Either this is a massive FAIL on Melvin's part, or Hardy's value had plummeted more than we realized.

  • Re: Did anyone catch what Troy Aikman said...

I caught it and I was surprised to hear him say it, although I agree with him. It's been my feeling all along that MN QB #4 did not want to be in Green Bay anymore, and that's part of the reason why I will never be able to forgive him for any of this. If he were literally run out of town it would be a different story.

  • Re: Washburn....

Agreed. However, like some of the commenters said on that post, if it's a Looper-esque deal I'd be in favor of it. If it's a Suppan type deal, absolutely not.

  • Re: Even Viking players are more realistic than you clowns.
remember the old days.
The old days never happened as far as I'm concerned. The man is dead to me, and should be dead to any Packer fan after the events of the past 2 years. He turned his back on all of us, and to do anything but boo him mercilessly would be telling him that all is forgiven. ...

  • Re: Pick a side

Robertj, I am surprised/disappointed to see that you are a Favre sympathizer. You seem like a reasonably intelligent guy from your posts on the Brewers board. I guess I was wrong!
[HAAAA!!!!!!!!! Sportsmanship?!?!?! SPORTSMANSHIP!!!! First of all, boo'ing for a rival team is not bad sportsmanship. You're telling me you wouldn't let your child Boo at a Packer game when the Bears come onto the field? Wow, talk about a strict parent. So is it good sportsmanship to retire.  Then ...

  • Re: Should the Brewers go after Roy Halladay?
I do not want to keep unloading the system for 1 year rentals of pitchers, no matter how good they are. That is how you end up in situations like this year and I do not want to see repeats of that.
Are you blaming the LaPorta/Sabathia trade for the Brewers' 2009 struggles? I don't see the ...

I wish nothing but the worst things on that man, and anybody that says he deserves any sort of respect whatsoever from anybody.
Never want to see his number retired at this point. Additionally, I would like to see his election to the Packer HOF achieved with the same decisiveness and over a similar period of time as his annual indecision about whether to return and play. I suppose something along the lines of 6 or 7 ...
