I'll give $25 to each of your charities if you both shut the hell up.

Excellent attitude. Instead of helping 2 charities, you'd rather insult another poster. No wonder everyone hates ...

Seriously, the last 11 games the Brewers staff has given up 3, 3, 3, 1, 3, 4, 5, 3, 2, 3, and 2 runs. Unfortunately the offense has been napping as they've only been able to win 5 of those games.

I believe he has two years left on his contract (?). He gives you a lead-off batter (I don't see Lopez being back) and a decent replacement for Cam in CF. This would also allow Weeks (assuming he's back at full strength) to move down in the order.
1. Pierre
2. Escobar
3. Braun
4. Fielder
5. Weeks
6. Gamel/McGahee
7. ...

Why is he allowed to play in minor league games before his suspension is up? If you're suspended you shoud be "suspended."
-
He was good enough to start because Jameer Nelson was hurt, and that is the only reason. Alston is and will be a back-up PG his entire career.
By the way, how many teams have also let the "talented" Rafer Alston go, let alone have tried to acquire this "talented" player?

By the four minute standard that you offered the other day...it's only 5, not 8. Same as Drew Brees, in fact.
