• Re: Another setback for Dominic James....

I would love to see Dominic pursue his love for basketball in the career of coaching.   He seems like a highly ethical, intelligent young man with great leadership and motivational skills and a true love for the game.   He also really showed his selflessness and maturity last year in terms of being a world class teammate after ...

Careful rookie.....don't step in the trail of crap that Braunie has left in his wake this week.
  • re: Spitz ready to make a leap

Breakout player could be Jermichael Finley at TE.   Packers have not had a TE with his athleticism and speed since the superbowl days.   He could be the guy to open the middle of the field and have a huge year.

  • Re: James, Mcneal, Mathews status...

I thought it would be a stretch for Mathews and James (especially after his injury) to get drafted but I thought they would get a look in summer league for some teams, spend a year or so in Europe and maybe have a real shot in a year or so. I was shocked McNeal, an AP All American and the career leading scorer for a program from a major ...

  • Re: MU & ND - recruiting is picking up...

It is mindboggling, to me, to see MU at least mentioned by so many top recruits (both on this site and on other recruiting sites).   I'm not suggesting that interest in MU means top choice for some of these kids, but, the fact that MU is even in the running or on the radar screen from such a diverse group of players (geographically ...

  • Re: Hayward named to USA Team

This will be a great experience for Lazar and a real growth opportunity for his game.   The competition will make him stronger, without question.  I do also think it is helpful for players to learn from other coaches to add to their game.   Lazar has a great opportunity to learn from Bo Ryan and have another set of eyes on ...

  • Re: Marquette Elite Camp report...

Jim: Which players at the camp have a decent chance of ending up at MU?   I would assume Buzz and staff have targeted a couple and some of them sound very promising.  Any insights or speculation? Thanks!

He must be a pretty impressive prospect.  Thanks again for the info....the blog has been pretty quiet lately.

  • Re: Marquette offers JP Tokoto...

If he decides between the two, it will be very interesting.   I know he is drawing a lot of attention nationally so he really should have many options including shools like Kansas, Duke, UNC, etc.    What a great position for the young man to be in at this point in his life.  I hope he comes through the ...

  • Re: Vander Blue in Marquette Blue?
I'm also surprised that so many Badger fans have turned this story into an excuse for Marquette bashing. Presumably Schultz added the part about Wes, Maymon and MU to invite such bad-mouthing and turn MU into the bad guy, especially if Blue is strongly considering MU.
Given ...
