I'd love to see Suppan done the rest of the year, or at least in the bullpen. We can't afford to have him as our #3 pitcher as it is. Remember he was the opening day starter...Unreal. Imagine an ineffective Suppan. I don't want to see that. This team is clicking for the first time in 2 months, let's not screw it up by rushing ...

I love Escobar's speed. I used to enjoy Hart when he was a speed demon as well, but we see what happens when a guy loses a step or 2 for whatever reason. This shakeup might actually work if we get Bush back within the next 2 weeks. Finally a watchable game.
If the Reds are willing to take 1/2 of the salaries of either Arroyo or Harang, I'd consider making a deal. Maybe a change of scenery will do good for Arroyo/Harang. Harang is a workhouse who only has 38 walk, but he is very hittable.
I would assume coming to a team with a ...

Any chance they try to get him? Weren't there rumors of a Reds trade before the deadline involving Harang? Don't know if being in the same division would block this. What would you give up? Hardy? He's a potential ace or #2 starter signed through next year. ...

Could things get any worse!

Maybe he'll start hitting better with less weight?

Maybe he gets back his speed. He used to routinely run out infield hits. Not lately.

How many strikeouts off of a tee would this Brewers lineup get if they had to hit off one in a game? Some of these guys are such head cases I wouldn't put it past them.
Great post Sidney

If you think JJ Hardy's teenie bopper fan base is cuter than Scottie's Hotties, text "Y" to 234234.

LOL. I bet Hardy's memorabilia/jersdey sales are up there with Braun and Fielder because of the massive female following, which still baffles me. He looks like a ...
In a quick response, Melvin said he'd love Braun's help, even naming him his "Deputy."
"Why not?" Melvin said. "If I could trade Carlos Lee, a proven All-Star power hitter and get nothing in return, how can one of my players do any worse? I've already got Ryan out on the road ...
(3) The Brewers are showcasing CV as a starter for a trade later in the week.
I really hope this is the reason. I just hope this isn't the effect of not being able to get a trade done for a worthy starter. But you never know with this team.

A frail starter that can't eat innings is the last thing we need.
"Still, several intriguing names have been floated in trade speculation
connected to Seattle. Among them: Tampa Bay pitcher Scott Kazmir and
shortstop prospect Reid Brignac to the ...
