Just some very basic stats I was looking at today. I emphasize elemental because I realize we have some good statisticians on this board that may have issues with these so take them with a grain of salt...
If you take team batting rank(measured by runs scored) + team pitching rank (measured by ERA) + team fielding rank (measured by errors) ...

All I know is with a man on 3rd one out, I was happy to see Counsell or even Kendall come up. I guess statistics would say Cameron over the long run would give you a 2 or 3 run innings, but usually in those situations I'm happy to get 1. Does that make sense?
